I finally got a chance to try this again. I just copied drFUNK's file in and it worked great. It is pretty fast too.
I'm getting network connection lost
everytime.
I replaced permtable, etc...do I also have to sign up on some site?
Yes, something like http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...&postcount=691, for example, shold be helpful.Originally Posted by Poi25
how is that helpful??
is humpa's proxy down?? I put in the correct IP address and uploaded the edited permtable...dont understand what the issue is.
Humpa doesn't have a WAP proxy. What are you trying to use as the WAP proxy, port, and the home page?Originally Posted by Poi25
Proxy Address: 165.228.131.12
Proxy Port: 80
Username: My mobile number
Password: vzw
Homepage: http://www.humpa.com/homepage
So what is that 165.228.131.12 WAP proxy (basically where did that IP come from, and/or how/why did you decide to use it as the WAP proxy)?Originally Posted by Poi25

9. Scroll down to the WAP setting (#5) and go into proxy address setting and then into primay address. Delete the previous address and enter 165.228.131.12 as the IP.
There's always the possiblity of just some glitches here and there and perhaps things might still work fine. However, if the same type of erros keep on coming up for a day or more it's quite likely that the proxy could be the issue in this case since it's basically some "random"/"anonymous" proxy that's just out there. To that effect my earlier reply with the link to another post about WAP proxies should/would in fact be useful, as well as proably http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...1&postcount=29 which is in this very thread.Originally Posted by Poi25
