Need help picking a sidekick.

I'm switching to T-Mobile in September, and i'm having some trouble deciding which sidekick i should get.

I'm stuck between the Sidekick 3 and the Sidekick iD, and i need to decide.


can somebody please give me some similarities & differences between the 3 and the iD?

and possibly some pros and cons about each one?

id say wait for a sk4

yeah but the sidekick 4 is probably going to be really expensive, and since i don't have a job i won't have that kind of money

the iD if you dont care for mp3, camera, or expandable memory (bluetooth i'm not sure i always forget this one). You're not missing much from the Sk3.

However, I am trying to get rid of my SK3 for a decent price, if you're interested let me know (still good condition, with all accesories, chargers, box, 2 leather cases)

I'd say get a SK3 for now or wait till the 4 comes out. I heard it wasn't going to be as expensive.

hmm. well the 4 is the "danger zante" or whatever right? the one made by motorola that slides? I don't really like that one; if it had a swivel screen i would like it better. I really want the sidekick 3 but i don't know if i'll have enough money to buy it, my alltel contract ends in september and thats when i'm switching to t-mobile. so yeah i have to have enough money to buy a sidekick by then.

I had nothing but problems with my sidekick 3. I now have the sidekick id and I'm loving it. Have it since it first came out and haven't had not one problem. With the sidekick 3 within the first 2 weeks I had a problem with it. So in my opinion I say go with the id. Also you mentioned money maybe being and issue so the id would be perfect cause I'm pretty sure its only $150 with a 2 year contract.

Actually the Sidekick ID is $99 with a 2 yr contract however really deciding between the Sidekick 3 and ID is personal prefrence

Sidekick 3 is pretty good ive had mines for quite awhile and i have not had any problems with it whatsoever.. the pros of the sk3 is its MP3 player as well as a better camara and its bluetooth support.. the SK3 also supports EDGE so it has a much faster web browser than the skID.. it also has its sexy black color which gives it that overall sexy look.. cons of the sk3 would be no picture messenging nor any video capture and dosnt have bluetooth mp3 support

The SKID is the cheaper way to join the sidekick community its extremely cheap and has pretty much all the core features of a sidekick.. think of it like the Xbox 360s premium and core bundles the sk3 being the premium and the skid being the core.. the skid has Email, Instant messengers, web, texting, and notes and calenders and thats pretty much about it. ts missing Everything else it dosnt even have a camara but for its price its sure a cheap way to join the community. the skid is for those who just want a sidekick for its data features and already have another phone by which they use as their primary.

in the end its really personal prefrences which ever one that suits you best is the way to go

Thanks for your opinions. I am really going to try to buy a sidekiock 3, but if i can't, then the sidekick iD is my alternative.
