I know you said small, but I would definitely look into the Incase Power Slider. I get ~10 hours BEFORE it starts using my iPhone battery. It's just like a thicker case. It also protects the phone.

aren't there issues using the power slider with the 3GS ? i read many users had reception problems and that's is why incase pulled it off their site. they claim they are working on a new model that will officially support the 3GS.Originally Posted by pOLLYpOCKET

A little, but nothing that would make me not use it. Normally in my area I have full 3G signal, with the Incase on, I would hover around 3-4 bars.Originally Posted by parishmc
I've a Just Mobile Gum Pro on it's way to me. 4400mah in the size of a pack of gum. However it needs a charging cable, it won't just insert into the phone sorry!

The Mophie Juicepack Air fits like a case around the iPhone, so it doesn't look like the phone gained much girth. You lose the ability to use the 40-pin dock connector, but you can still sync via a standard USB cable.

guys, i already have 2 external battery chargers, the power monkey and the proporta charger, what im looking for is a SMALL power back for the iphone, something like this:

I bought that at walmart and returned it a couple weeks later. The idea is great, and the battery is very small. The problem is that it would give my 3GS only about a 30% charge before dying. For 60 bucks that wasn't worth it to me. I returned it and for $20 more got a juice pack air, which I am pretty happy with.Originally Posted by Phat^Trance

but i want some smaller charger thats easier to take with me
what ever happened to the energizer one??
I bought a pair of Duracell battery chargers at Costco for $19.99. They are a little larger than a pair of AA batteries (which are used for the power) and they came with two pair of ~4" cables to go into iPod/iPhone connectors and mini-usb connectors.
The only downside is that out-of-the-box, they will only work with disposable alkaline batteries. I opened them up, though, and modfied them to work with rechargable batteries. My wife keeps one in her purse, and I've got one in my backpack.
The price was good, and I can recharge multiple devices with them.
I came across the Ipower

It has a 2400mAh battery and a built in speaker for music/phone calls. The reviews says the speaky is a tad bit too tinny. Also, not the prettiest deivce, but has a nice size battery and cheap.
The Richard Solo charges at least 50-60% and it's pretty small.
It's impossible for a small battery to pack as much power as a large one. Now that should be obvious, no? If you get a small battery it won't fully charge your phone, only partial charge.Originally Posted by Phat^Trance
