The case doesn't have a lip, and won't affect your screen protector at all.

Here is a quick pic I took with my Tab.

Nevermind, incipio is smaller and thinner. I will wait for that one.

Does anyone here know when Incipio will release their external battery case for the IP4?

I'm a little confused in how these external batteries work. I read the review of the Mophie external battery for the IP4. I know there are two modes of usage, but I don't like the part where I should activate the battery once the IP4's battery is at around 20%. Will any harm be done if I keep the Mophie's battery in external battery mode where the IP4's battery will be activated as soon as the Mophie is drained? Will the transition from Mophie's battery to the IP4's battery be seamless once the Mophie's battery is depleted?

Will I be able to sync my IP4 with iTunes on the computer through the micro-USB port on the Mophie?

I'm seriously considering getting this if the Incipio external battery fail to impress.

I don't think that would be any different than having your iPhone plugged into a regular outlet all the time. The thing is it's good for batteries to be drained, it adds to their lifetime. That's the only reason I can think of for turning it on once your phone reached 20%. You can sync through the micro USB just like with the 30 pin dock connector.

    Hi,

I've bought this external battery for my iPhone in Netherlands:

    http://www.mytrendyphone.nl/shop/ext...er-36300p.html

But I don't know what brand it is, it's not written in the webshop. The battery plugs on the bottom of the iPhone and is easy to use. 1900 mah capacity is pretty enough for very extended use.

Apple has brought out a lot of extended batteries for the iPhone's since 2007. I'm sure you know this by now, but there are special extended batteries that have multi-purposes like: charging your phone and acting like a case.
