Yes, you're grandfathered in. They got rid of the $5.99 plan early in 2009 as I recall.

I want to do the FlexPay monthly plan. The Even More Plus 500 Talk + Text + Web with FlexPay plan. I see that includes unlimited web. If I buy a used MyTouch or CLIQ from Ebay, will I be able to use it on this plan? What about a Blackberry 8520 or Bold? Thanks!

Yes, the Talk+Text+Web plan includes data for any smartphone. You may need to tell T-Mobile which smartphone you're using (such as Android or Blackberry) so they can set up your account. But no matter what device, the data will be included in the price.

Oh I just switched over to sprint for the everything plan for 500 min to get the Evo, I like it so far.. I don't think I will be using t-mobile much anymore.. I'd have to think about it.

I want to do the flexpay monthly plan, but is there anywhere else to buy the phones other than T-Mobile.com. Someplace that gives at least some discount? Thanks!

I have "myFaves for Families 700 with FlexPlay" + 400 Domestic Messages" with 2 lines, one with $5.99 T-MobileWeb - can I just get the same $5.99 T-MobileWeb added to my other line? We're using our own, older phones, no Nexus One etc (sold all my old smartphones while they worth something and still waiting for the 'perfect' Android phone to be announced. )

OTOH I pay around $120 now so it would be $125 or so and a similar current 750 Family Plan + 2x $10 for text and 2x $10 for internet only equals $90 but I am extremely worried about my tethering, more precisely using it for occasional VPN - a coworker of mine has a N1 with $10 TMO internet (apparently he had a different phone before) and we couldn't use the same VPN through his tethered connection... is it possible?
