Anyways I got the Myfavs 300 with the unlimited nights and I got unlimited text and mobile to mobile..

and just on the safe side I used my E715 phone as he had to give the code from the back of the phone.

and another thing he was pretty cool he was telling yeah you can set your myfavs online to set it up if you don't have a my favs phone.

my bill is $62.01 but I have piece of mind now...
A credit check is not required for flexpay accounts. There is actually an option to do a credit check or not. He probably did a credit check to see if he could push you on an annual contract. Application rejected means that either you had a previous account, or there's a discrepency on your credit report. Please tell me you paid the bill up front. Hit #999# and send to make sure you're on a flexpay account. If it says to press #646# to check usage, then you're not on flexpay. If it says "FlexAccount Balance" you are.

yeah I paid up front and it says flexAccount balance.. I did not want an annual contract in the first place it's bad enough I can hardly get any bars inside and I have to stand near a window to make a call and sometimes thats a bit spotty..

Too bad hotspot@home isn't available on flexpay. It would probably do your reception justice.

but yeah the downfall is you need a hotspot@home phone right?

I've been thinking about getting a signal booster but from what I understand the antennas need to be about 40 inches apart?

it's a pain... my bars go from 1-4 bars with the phone pressed on the window to as soon as you move it 40 inches from the window to No service :-/ so on days I don't feel like standing near the window I will call her or she will call me since I have VOIP it works out and she has unlimited nights and weekends..

but getting unlimited text was a MUST

Signal boosters are ok. Spotwave is a popular one. If you're using voip at home tho, i would recommend Skype. They cost $29.95 a year for unlimited calling to the US and Canada.

Im using packet 8 I've had them for about a year and a half now pretty happy with it bill is around $27.49 a month.

Also question looking at my account online do I get charged for listening to my voicemail? I happen to see 4 min was taken out of my 300 min.. Thats the only thing I can think of that dipped into it as I called my mom and she is on T-mobile..

    Oh get this..

they screwed up or somehow screwed up on my SSN.. for the last 4 numbers it's somehow 1111

So the guy was like when you call and you have to give your SSN just remember the last 4 numbers as 1111

    I was like

oh, he did a no social account(The account is not under your social). That's fine. 1111 is your pin number and can be changed with a phone call to TMO. I think they probably told him to fax over your Social, ID, and utility bill for identity verification, so he probably just did a no social to save you time and stress. The faxing over information takes a few days to process and half the time, they don't get the fax and you have to refax. I've had to refax 6 times on 1 customer.

And yes, you get charged for calling voicemail. However, you can add mobile2mobile and not get charged.

no 1111 is NOT my pin number I gave my pin number out when he asked what I wanted it to be.. the 1111 part is my Social which is NOT correct. and I have no clue how the T-mobile person on the phone screwed that up.. as I gave him my correct number and he said it to the person on the phone.. he was confused himself as well.

and what do you mean add mobile2mobile? I already have that service plan or do you mean add my number to My favs?

    lol at the #674#

it says You have used 0 messages; you have 999999 remaining included messages through 10/01

1111 is the social that T-Mobile uses when opening a non-social account. Like i said, they probably asked him to fax over documentation(Social Security Card, Utility Bill, and US government ID). Happens a lot when an application gets rejected. Instead of making you wait a week to fax and activate the account, he probably set up a non-social account.

Faxing documents to offline consumer credit is usually done within 30-60 minutes of the fax being sent. As long as the ALL of the PROPER documents are sent and they are readable of course.

Interesting that the online account for Flexpay does not update as quick as prepay.

Early on I read a post saying hotspot#home wasn't available but on the T-Mobile site under FlexPay How to read your bill it shows 'hotspot@home' to be an available call type, Wouldn't that mean it has to be available to FlexPay customers?

i have yet to get flexpay and i definitely do not like any of the hotspot phones. i'm pretty sure you can't get the unlimited plan, but i don't think t-mobile would mind you using up your minutes while you're at a wi-fi location.

Since your account is in lockdown for the first 3 days after activation, your information might not update until then.
