Most people were thinking that Apple would rush out a patch for the Safari bug and not include anything else. I still say the first new functionality update won't be until Leopard nears (October). There may be another bug patch before then.
The Update just says "Bug fixes". I can't wait to see the list. Kinda crummy of them to not publish it there. Will be interesting to see if they ever do publish it or if it's too embarassasing. One way or another though someone will make a list.
Seems like those are some nice hole patches. Funny thing is they released this at the same time as an OSX security update. The OSX security updates are out very often, something like once or twice a month. This bodes well for Apple's intent on keeping the device relatively secure.
Edit - they even credited those who found the security holes on that page, a nice touch to give some props to those who help improve security.
ok its final..this is what i needed to see. .ill be getting my iphone this weekend b4 i go camping ..if not after i return early next week....im sure many others where waiting to see the same..you should see a slight jump in sales after this..
I'm curious to see what impact is has, if any, on those with hacked phones etc.
I'm guessing it will get the same "unknown error" I got while it was "verifying" the iphone s/w and force a restore and update like mine is doing right now..
