    Volume

Can anybody that did the update, tell me if it changed the call volume at all. I had to return it because of this and would love to get it again if the problem was fixed.

    Thank you

The update took off my ringtones and setup off but redoing the iFuntastic to the way it was, i have my ringtones and menu order back. I am pretty sure the update was for the Safari security bug and nothing else. I mean it was a pretty small download.

This is the list of security fixes. There may be other fixes that they choose not to reveal.

Mind sounds the same. I think some people are hearing what they WANT to hear.

    Just spoke with Apple.

Software changes = Security Fixes Only
Firmware Update = unknown, no detail available, although it has been updated in some fashion.

My guess is that Firmware Update = Battery Meter Fix, GSM and WiFi Signal Meter fix.

I have requested someone at Apple give me a definitive answer on the volume issue as to whether it is Hardware or Firmware/Software. I doubt I will get a response, but it's worth a try.
