So, with just the "bug fixes" today, I wonder what this is about??
Could it be that today's update is just a precursor to an imminent full blown software update?

yeah its has to do with the push imap. on wifi its works differantly and only gets mail when refresh it or it dose it on it own.

its the same with people who use that cwmx thing when out going isnt working properly it only works on edge.

There's more than a few people over at the Apple forums saying their volume has increased. I think they're nuts but on the chance they're right we're going to have to figure out why some phones have changed and others haven't. Could it be a "5" vs. "7" serial # issue like with the screens?

    My volume didn't change and I have a "7".

Not sure if posted but this update fixes IMAP folder support on my personal account...weren't showing up before on 1.0 and now they are without making any changes.

I'll be thrilled if Safari never crashes or my music doesn't stop playing as well as reliable Yahoo Push. Those were my biggest gripes...time will tell.

FYI...just tested and my volume went up quite a bit - noticeably. Definitely a good thing..I have to leave it lower than what I used to...I have a 5 series.

I've found that I can't use ifuntastic anymore, jailbreak fails, but on another phone that wasn't hacked before the update ifuntastic works fine now. Anyone else seeing this?

Glad to have the security fixes, disappointed that new functionality - that has been clamored over for weeks - has not.

The first digit of your serial number. It's on the back of the phone. Apparently there is a difference in screens between 5 and 7. Perhaps other hardware as well.
