was wondering what the p1 was running on, data plan wise. last time i've used a smartphone was a p900. hoping to get back into the genre. im on tmo now and was planning on seeing if the p1 can run aim thru the sms plan.
saw that, but actually when i was on there a few days ago for some reason the prices were crossed out, greyed out and unclickable. besides was wondering if he got it from somewhere else.
gotta say that i am pleasantly surprised by the reception i am getting with this phone. rogers must really be improving their network as a phone without the 850 would never work at my house before, but does now. i have spent the last few days drving between pickering to mississauga and in and around toronto and the reception has been fine. i am sure that once i get into a building i will have problems, but so far so good.
i also really like opera mini beta on this device. when using a gprs connection for accessing google or hofo site the device is pretty quick. i was pleasantly surprised.
great little app. but when not using wifi i cannot seem to get it to work under gprs. when it asks what "internet access point" what do you have selected. i believe i have it under "use active connection" and it wont connect.
my gprs and tzones works when this happens so i have a connection to the web, but agile will not recognize that.
i love seeing X-s60 users using iphones lol lol lol

These should be banned in canada as far as i'm concerned lol.
Makes the network look bad -_-;;
850 lol still don't need it. Go charge your n95 and let me know when you get exchange or bbc to work with it
the only thing that should be banned is that crippled n95 lol

Exchange works with it..
BBC, no, but you don't even use it so it's a moot point.
In terms of stability & reliability, you win this round.
In terms of coverage & connectivity, the P1i is weak.
gave up my e61i for this and i havent looked back yet.. the size and camera alone make this thing a winner. add to that touch screen and a butt load of rom/ram and this thing rocks!
how do we end world hunger and homelessness? feed the homeless to the Hungary

Reminds me of a 7610a in fact lol
it's not about what i use... it's about the feature set that's available for usage...cause of it was then the n95 is completely moot cause i would be constantly trying to restart apps that shut down due to lack of ram.
you loved your 7610b... lol so i guess you're heartbroken you can't love a p1ib as well... it's ok..... there there... nokia will take care of you..."memory full please close programs"
