Well done -- I hope this is stickied. May I recommend that you blur out your ESNs?

    Thanks everybody!

theirlaws, I thought about it, but the phone's unused and not active anywhere. If anybody wants to steal and clone that ESN, be my guest, you won't get anywhere.

I like that you spelled "voila" correctly!

Given your francophone nick I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

    Very nice guide.

Someone else had a dissambly guide for the K1M... I have it linked as Item # 51 on my How To's page... but their Pictures are all gone (they were using PhotoBucket to hold them)... so their guide is useless..

Mind of I switch the link on my HOW TO's page to your site instead?

Very good pics. It helped me with my K1M & my W385. BTW, the W385 has 2 more screws under the chin pad which I would not have found if you did not show how to take off the chin pad!

    Thanks a lot!

One thing I hated about the K1M was the silver keypad. This guide allowed me to purchase a black keypad off the web and replace the silver. Phone looks better and the keypad can actually be read in daylight.

    verrry cool

Thank u so much, just finished replacing the ribbon cable on my K1M using u'r very excellent instructions. Bought the cable and tools from easyworldwidetrading on ebay, shipping included for 6.98 US. Everything works but now it won't ramp up to ring loud with vibrate. The vibrator works but the menu doesn't show with vibrate when u increase the volume with the side buttons.
This isn't a huge problem as I have my fav phone back online now.

    Thanks again.
