    Question LED Repair - All4Cell.com?

    Hey guys,
So one of the LEDs on my 8260->8860 conversion keypad went out. I have an extra OEM keypad and obviously can get my hands on some blue LEDs, is there anyone here who would be willing to do the mod for me provided I just send the keypad, LEDs and some extra cash? I've been trying to get ahold of All4Cell and haven't gotten one e-mail returned. Has anyone had luck with them recently? I want to go with them but there comes a point when I just want this done and I don't really want to send my whole phone in anyway. Any advice or offers to do the mod appreciated.

hey it's me again... sorry about the hardware problem... stilll happy with the phone? anyways... there's a guy on ebay that sells them for about 7-10 USD if you send the keypad to me i'll put them in, however you would also have to send the backing and some battery contacts. so i can test the contacts to the led... just thought i would offer since i put in the led's
    THat'll do pig, that'll do

all4cell put blue leds in my 8260 a few years ago, so dont know about them now, but back then very accomodating. i had blue leds before they were massively available and i was skeptical abotu sending my phone in, so they agreed to meet with me, so i could drop my phone off in person and all that jazz, the leds still work like a champ, even though i dont use that phone anymore.

Dunno about all4cell, but we're still here... still doing LED swaps, etc. You can PM me or send an email if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help.

Thanks for your offer Nokialight! I went ahead and took up aznpharm up on his offer to do it. But I will definitely keep you guys in mind for the next LED install I need.

Oh and for the record...All4Cell still hasn't responded to my e-mail simply asking if they can do the LED repair and where should I send the phone/money. It has been over 11 days. That's ridiculous. It's like they don't want the business but they are posting all sorts of offers to fix people's phones who post on their message board over there. I don't recommend anyone try to do business with them.

Yep, we're here! We mostly deal with mail-in type stuff, but walk-ins are accepted on certain days when we have more techs available. Just send an email if you plan to stop by.

I've been in contact with the people at All4Cell a few times. We've always had a good, clean, friendly relationship. The main gal over there currently has a sick relative in need of an organ transplant. So your email may have been overlooked due to her mind being preoccupied with personal matters. I'm fairly certain she wouldn't ignore your email on purpose.
