Hihi...I was following the instructions below but then I don't see the 2 folders (phone mem and mem card) when I go into SE File Manager --> my w580. Does anybody know what's wrong? I also get the "OBEX Error" and I don't see the two folders when I use MyPhoneExplorer. Grr this is so frustrating! Did anybody encounter this problem as well? (and solve it?)
Thanks!!

Drag ur .dm file in here...where the two folders are
dont drag it into the folders but just drag it where u c the 2 folders, into tht window
Once u do tht ur phone will sudden move and it will transfer the .dm file
you will c it on ur phone screen
Now it will place the file in the Music folder for u automatically and ask you if u want to use it now..

Tried this on my AT&T w580i with no luck. Still can't use full mp3's as ringtones. The phone will allow small clips but not full songs. Guess I'll have to debrand the thing.

That's controlled by your ring duration, controlled by your network provider and indirectly by you.
