Yeah, flash would be good so you can browse pretty much ALL of youtube.
I have a theory, we all know that bottom row on the phone has room for 4 more icons, and I'm wondering if Apple plans on developing different programs and then letting you choose which ones you want on your phone. You know how we were talking about having a Ringtones tab in iTunes, maybe we'll have a programs tab where we can add and remove more programs, kind of like you can add and remove Widgets and stuff on a Mac. That would be pretty cool. Be able to choose between games, chat clients, etc...wishful thinking probably, but that would be pretty cool, even if you have to buy them on itunes. (Except for iChat and stuff like that, because that should have come standard, so if they charge for taht, that's kinda mean, haha)
signal strength has not changed for me. If anything it has gotten worse. My office is on the bottom floor of a brick building. Most, if not all cell phones don't work down here, so it's not too big of a complaint, but before the update I was able to sit my iphone in just the "right" spot and not move it at all, and I would have 1 bar. Now I don't.
my 2 cents. Weather and stocks do update faster. System sounds seem to be a notch louder. Other then that nothing significant that i noticed. As a side note, people who think phone respondes faster/better - try reseting the phone ones in a while, should have the same effect. Clearing the memmory and closing any open applications in the background accomplishes similar effect. Pretty much like any other computer.
and I'm suppose to be happy with it? for this long?
I'm sorry...I'm coming from the Windows realm(don't start a war) but, things happen fast there....or at least a hotfix is issued to those individuals that experience problems...if they are not confident enough to produce a semi-solid product....then why was there a rush to release in June?
Security issues....I can understand...there will always be security issues...hackers are called hackers for a reason....BUT...functionality is a different story....Apple is showing incompetence right about now...IMO...
Things happen fast there because they have to constantly fix all of the security holes and bugs left in the software.
Is someone holding a gun to your head forcing you to use the iPhone?
I am not sure if anyone else mentioned this because of the multiple threads and eventual merger but has anyone noticed a vast improvement in the camera's live video update. Before even small hand movements would blur the screen really easily but now it seems to have much higher refresh rate or some kind of stability enacted. It could all be in my head but I have used the camera quite a bit and it seems much improved to me.
If you have a passcode lock on your iPhone and your phone is locked, you now must first enter the code on your phone before you can sync with iTunes. I know that wasn't there for me before because I was very disappointed that the software would let you do that, unlike my former blackberries.
When will they ever add MMS, you so know that AT&T is behind this delay likely due to capacity issues on their servers. Given they can handle sending us a login ID to go to their webpage when you get an MMS they must be taking those stats/image file sizes to prep for capacity is my thought.
