    Question kyocera k612 to cricket

    I would really like to get my virgin phone transfered to Cricket. It's the k612 switchback. How would I get that done? (In really basic terms, LOL, I'm not a moron, but I have no clue here.) I can't even seem to find anyplace to plug in any cables or anything.

    All Kyocera Wireless handsets are shipped with a default lock code of 0-0-0-0
    (4 zeros). When your handset is programmed with a mobile number by your
    wireless service provider, the default lock code will change to the last 4-
    digits of your mobile number. For example, if your mobile number is 619-555-
    9999, your lock code becomes “9999”.

    If your lock code is unknown, please read the following scenarios for
    resolution.

    Please see attached PDF document for additional guidance.

    If you do not know the 4-digit lock code, you have various options available to
    you depending on which phone model you are utilizing and if your phone is
    currently locked or unlocked.

    * Phone is "unlocked" - (lock code unknown) *

    For older Kyocera handsets, if your phone is currently in the “unlocked”
    position, your local wireless provider may assist you by helping you manually
    reprogram your handset. After your phone has been reprogrammed, the 4-digit
    lock code will default to the last 4-digits of your mobile number which will
    enable you to enter the Security menu.

    For new Kyocera handset models (KX5, KX16, KX12, KX18, KX13 KX9 and
    K24), you may reset the lock code to default 0-0-0-0 (4 zeros) by
    accessing the phone “Service” menu. You will need assistance from your local
    wireless provider for the 6-digit programming code.

    From the phone’s main menu, press 1-1-1-1-1-1 (six 1’s) and select “
    Options”.

    * Select “Service”
    * Select “Resest Lock”
    * Enter 6-digit programming code
    * Select “Yes”

    once your phone is unlocked you'll more than likely need to call cricket and get the info from them on how to switch it to their network
