That's the link to the Pittsburgh map that somebody posted in the Western PA thread. Figure people may look here for it.

very cool, thanks for the post, interesting the lack of blue, but dark orange in the main 3G coverage area.

    so, so, so sad....

    Dear Mr. ******,

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail AT&T regarding your interest in
knowing when the coverage map will be updated. I am happy to help you
with your inquiry and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have
    caused.

Generally speaking, updates to network coverage and other information
will take place each business quarter. Additional updates may be added
if the need arises. In the event significant changes have not occurred,
information may not be updated during the business quarter. I apologize
for any inconvenience or misunderstanding the may have occurred.

Important Information About the Coverage Map: Map may include areas
served by unaffiliated carriers, and may depict their licensed area
rather than an approximation of their coverage. Actual coverage area may
differ substantially from map graphics, and coverage may be affected by
such things as terrain, weather, foliage, buildings and other
construction, signal strength, customer equipment and other factors.
AT&T does not guarantee coverage. Charges will be based on the location
of the site receiving and transmitting the call, not the location of the
subscriber. Your phone's display does not indicate the rate you will be
    charged.

I hope that the information provided has been helpful and has resolved
all of your questions. If you need further assistance, feel free to
reply to this e-mail or contact customer service at 1-800-331-0500 or
    611 from your wireless phone.

I encourage you to visit our web site (www.att.com/wireless) often to
view current and previous monthly statements, make payments and to shop
for new product and service offerings. Thank you for allowing AT&T to
serve as your wireless company. We will do our best to ensure that your
    wireless experience is a success.

    Sincerely,

    Leigh Ann Cook

Ummm... we're approaching 2 quarters gone (May was the last update). During the time from May to August, a HUGE part of So-Cal was deployed, and it doesn't show.
    AT&T... your world, throttled.

Yep, and a HUGE part of NorCal wasn't deployed, but it does show Okay, I was told they installed more capacity in the Sacramento switch, and it will come in the near future to MAYBE Redding or Chico, but that's it. Verizon is running rings around AT&T in the 3G game in NorCal, they will have almost all of NorCal with EVDO by the end of the year, AT&T hasn't moved theirs north past Larkspur, Napa or Larkspur or east of Cameron Park in ages, Edge will have theirs up (and Edge does have it up in parts of OR and SE ID, and soon here in NorCal) long before AT&T does.

But they do have Reno, Carson City, and Tahoe covered now, and Edge Wireless 3G to boot

Yeah we do, woot woot! lol Right now, Edge's 3G stops about 2 miles south of me, but it's getting closer by the week, it sure makes EDGE speeds seem pokey heh

A lot of the AT&T areas in NorCal are waiting for TDMA and AMPS to be shut off in Feb of 2008, I am told a ton of 3G will start being turned up once that happens, as they've already got the capacity and sites ready to go Edge shut off their TDMA this summer, so I would imagine that is why they are starting to turn 3G up, all that spectrum and capacity freed up with TDMA going bye bye.

Edit-So far, Edge Wireless HSDPA is live in the Ukiah area here in NorCal (confirmed and used by yours truly), and I would imagine in Eureka, and maybe Crescent City and Yreka, and people have confirmed it on in Southern Oregon and Southeastern Idaho, no word on Jackson, WY, but I bet it is there (gotta get the richies and Darth Cheney their 3g ).
