I'm trying to fix it. The ringtone is still good as far as I know (its under ringtones) but I'm having problems converting the video...I'm trying though!!

I use to have a VLC player that would download the youtube vids,
but what program do you use to extract the sound?
and what program to convert the vlc file to 3gp?

I haven't found a efficient way to get the videos off of youtube.com.
I do a google search for the video...sometimes I get lucky and stumble across a download for it.

I found the mp4 versions of both AT and PU and converted them to mp3's (songs)and then to mmf's (ring tones). I tried to convert the mp4 to 3g2 (video ring tone) but it's not working for me.

I've been looking for a similar converter (one that can actually convert them successfully) but to no avail. I'll keep looking when I get some more time.

Do the videorings work with 3gp? Because i downloaded the videos with a youtube video download thing, converted them to mp4....then tried to convert them to 3gp. HAHA. no idea if thats right at all..

Video rings can be done if they're in any format but mp4. No matter what you convert the mp4 to, it doesn't seem to work.

Mp4 seems to be the format ideal for ipod's and psp's, not Helio's.

That's what I use and it's not working. It doesn't want to convert mp4's and when I convert the mp4 to avi, mov, etc with another converter then use Acala to convert it 3g2 or 3gp, it gives me an error.

I downloaded this thing called Youtube Robot, where it downloads the Youtube Movie, and lets it convert it all in one. Instead with others where i have to convert it to something before i can convert it to 3g2, it lets me convert it straight to 3g2. I don't know if it works though, has anyone tried this program?

I've tried something similar and no go. It converts it to flv then to 3g2 but I still get errors.
