Okay, so I finally got bored enough to start messing with ringtones myself. Then I had to figure out how to use the 4shared thing so I can share them with your guys. So far all I have is a couple of Family Guy ringtones and the Futurama theme uploaded.

Yeah, I realized there wasn't really any hard work involved in doing and my hubby had the Family Guy MP3s and I wanted them for my phone...so I finally sat down and learned how to do it myself and was like, this is a piece of cake!

hi i am able to make my own ringtones however my problem is with them working on my phone. i make them .mmf format and i send them to my phone but when i play them on the phone they wont play what am i doing wrong? does anyone know?

Hi all. I noticed a few of you were trying to make video ringtones of some things. For the AwesomeTown pilot, what portion of the show did you want converted? I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure what it's about. Is it just a theme song that you want converted to vidring? Or are you looking to get the entire episode converted to video (not video ringtone)?

I've done a few video ringtones for my Ocean, so I'd be happy to help out. Let me know.

EDIT: scratch that I didnt know you could set up ringers to d/l like that too sweet! I figured id just try in in the built in browser, and as Borat would say "VERY NICEEEE"!!! The sound and video are a little bit lagged but NO WORRIES!!! Thanks!

Can you guys point me in the direction to get a simple ringtone? You know, like a regular ringing telephone? Or a beeping sound with no music?

I hate having songs on my phone when it rings.

No probs, glad ya got it on your Ocean. Sadly, the original source I had to work with was a tiny bit lagged and with the severe compression it ended up a little worse as well. Maybe we'll get lucky and Helio will make the next Ocean or like with a much faster processor to handle higher bitrate video.

Here is a classic landline style ringer.

Classic Phone Ring

Just e-mail the mmf file to your (yourphonenumber)@myhelio.com email address. Get the message on your helio and save the attachment by pressing the action button when you highlight that file in the email. Then it will be listed in the Free Rings section of ringtones.
