    I'm currently eligble for a phone upgrade, but the prices on the site for the new phones are high so I was wondering if I would be able to get a contact extension through another site (i.e. newegg, wirefly, etc...) and still keep the discounts that I receive?

    I have tried to find the answer to this question using the search button, but to no avail. I was wondering if someone might help me out?

    I have two 1st generation iPhones on a family plan (I know that I don't get a FAN discount on service because of this fact). My questions is, if I upgrade the primary line to an iPhone 3G, does the FAN discount that I get, kick in and apply to the 1st line only, or does the appearance of an iPhone 3G on my account make the FAN discount available to all lines?

    If someone actually knows please let me know via PM - if you don't know, please don't answer!!! I already have enough speculation with AT&T customer care - they couldn't even answer this!!! Thanks in advance.

    Usually FAN only applies to the 1st line......Doesnt matter which phone it is IIRC

    Ok, I recently signed up to put my line under FAN, and my account indicates the Employee FAN # at the top right of the page, but I recently just got my bill and received no discount. How could this be?

    It appears your employer's reltaionship with ATT does not provide discounts for employee's monthly services. The discounts are probably on device upgrades or accessories.

    Really? My employer said I should receive 15% off. I work at NASA.

    Hmm, something is up. You should give ATT a call then. And one more thing, ATT sometimes would say it takes up two billing cycles for the discounts to kick in.

    OK I log on to my site to the premier site. Looks like I can get a family share plan with the I phone for and 2 other phones for 92 bucks. $58 for voice $24 for data. But I thought you could not do a I phone on a shared plan? is it different with premier?

    Nov 4 or 5, I went to my premier site for a phone upgrade, and the pricing with rebate was listed. I d/l'd the pdf of the rebate form, which says valid 11/02/08 to 12/25/08. I didn't buy the phone at that time.
    starting 11/8 the rebate info disappeared from the premier page.

    has this happened to anyone else?

    online CSR Tried to tell me it's because i only wanted to upgrade the phone not the plan, even though I told her it was there 11/13.

    If that is the case, I'm even more likely to go unlocked and not re-up;

    Upgrade Phone with Premier Account at Sams Club?

    My phone id 24 months old and due for new one. Premier site hasugrade W750 SE phone for $165 w/2 year contract and Sams has it for $80 w/2 year contract and for upgrading for current at&t customers.

    Can i buy it from Sams and do i have to submit my work email address to qualify for FAN discount again?

    happened to me too
    spoke to csrep and they told me thats all my company gets
    funny it wasn't like that before
    he told me i don't get the rebates anymore
    meaning premier prices are higher than cingy.com prices
    interesting

    Premier policies?

    Ok, so I'm hoping someone on here could help me out... I have searched but havent found any answers....

    I just found out that I qualify for Premier, and I am now just waiting for it to take affect.

    But I'm also looking to upgrade my phone and my plan. I'm thinking of getting the Bold of the Fuze. This is where I need the help...

    The rep told me that the iPhone, and the Bold both get the FAN discount on both vioce and service plans. But the Fuze only gets discounted on the voice plan because it's a PDA plan... his exact words were, "I'm not quite sure why, but I know the BlackBerry Connect and iPhone Data plans are included, but anything that takes a PDA plan wont get the discount."

    Is this true? if so what's the reason PDA plans are restricted? it almost doesnt make sense to me.

    Also if anyone has a chance please drop me your impressions on all 3 devices if you have used or still use them in my thread in the Phone Battle section.. Thanks in advance.
