In that case you should call they will probably tell you to go to an AT&T store with employee ID.
When I switched employers I just wanted to know first which was the largest discount, I put in the new email and it automatically switched me. I had to call in and discover I had a 25% discount.
Business customer care can take care of this. The regular ATT CS won't have a clue, if that's who you spoke with. Keep trying.

I currently work with a new company which offers a higher discount. I have talked with multiple customer service people and nobody can figure it out. My company gave me a website to go to, to sign up, but I get an error after my information is entered. It basically says that the FAN numbers do not match. My guess is I need to delete the one before I can continue to apply for this one.
Primary line:
(Line fee + data fee) * discount = amount of discount applied on bill.
Secondary line:
data fee * discount = amount of discount applied on bill
Fan discounts vary by company. One company may only have a discount be applied to the main line. Another company may have discount applied to all lines.
Does anyone know how the Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) FAN discount is supposed to be applied. ATT told me it was only eligible on the main voice line only. I know someone that got the discount applied to their text. Is anyone else getting the RSA FAN discount for text, data and/or second line? Thank you!
I got a FAN discount(10%) and my bill shows the discount applied to the main line voice plan but no discount for either mine or the wifes data plan (2gb data). AT&T says it has to be the 3gb data plan or higher. truth?
My FAN discount is applied to voice and data and I have a 2GB plan, priced at $25. This might vary of course. Depending on the your company's arrangement with AT&T.

Not true. I have the discount applied to my 2gb data plan. But, each FAN is different and have different discounts

I'm confused. I said the discount is applied to my data. You say the discount is applied to YOUR data. What is not true? You are saying the same thing I am.
I'm thinking about switching from Sprint to AT&T and my FAN of 20% appears to apply to both voice and data. Still in the process of figuring out which data package I need.
