How do I increase the volume with HTC PPC 6800 Sprint

Does anyone know how I can increase the volume on the PPC 6800. It is horrible even with the headset.

Have you tried adjusting the volume by clicking on the speaker icon and raising the bar?

make a call, while in the call, roll the wheel to the desired sound level...

now if we could only find a way to make it stay there after a soft reset ;(

Unzip and drop this into your Windows directory with Total Commander and soft-reset.

It's an edited .csv which will make your volume settings louder. (and a little distorted but, it's not bad)

Hook up via Activesync and drop the .csv file into a temp directory. Google a program called, 'total commander' and install it. Using total commander, copy the .csv file from your temp directory to your windows directory. When it asks if you'd like to overwrite, select 'yes'.

Yes, it actually works on the Sprint Branded Titans. I've used it and there's a thread at PPCGeeks about it.

Well, if it works on Titans, then it should work on all HTC phones, right?

Well, I know it doesn't work on TyTN's, because I've tried it. It would seem the system's volume is controlled differently on the Titan. I did look and this file is not present on my Touch.

Actually, the thread is at PDAPhoneHome.com:

The file I attached is the 'coarse' adjustment, which seems to work the best.
