no one knows. its the sidekick LX. maybe they have given up the numbers or maybe the SK4 just hasnt been leaked yet.

The SideKick LX is basically the SideKick 4. (It's a far bigger update than the SideKick 3 was, IMO.) Its model number is something-250. The SKII was something-100 (being the first SK made by Sharp), the SK3 was something-200, and the SKiD was something-150.
The "SlideKick" is Q700, I believe. It's kinda off in it's own world. Its specs don't seem to be quite up to par with the SKLX, but it should be thinner, and Motorolas are supposed to be fashionable.
Now that T-Mobile sells multiple SideKicks at once, it doesn't really make sense to number them any more. But you can think of the SKLX as the SK4...it's Sharp's follow-up to their SK3.

From many reports relased online you should expect the sidekick lx to be released around mid oct. here in the US and the slide to be released in the UK around the same time. The slide will probably come to the US at a later date. Anyways, the new sidekick is gonna have the same crappy stuff on it as a sk3, really no improvements worth buying one besides the look and finally MMS. You should just wait for the HTC Juno or HTC TyTn2/Kaiser to hit tmobile. The TyTn2/Kaiser has already been thru fcc so it will be coming soon. Those 2 HTC phones will be 3G, sidekick definately wont.

Uh, and the teensy little adjustment of finally going from an ancient 240x160 display (half QVGA? Eighth VGA?) to a 400x240 display (making it one of the first WQVGA phones in the US). That's two and a half times the pixels of the current displays. Yowza.
(The SlideKick sees a similar improvement, to QVGA, which is really what the SK3 should have had all along.)
Given that many of the other specs of the SKLX aren't known yet, I don't see how you can say that there are "really no improvements." I'll be the first to admit that the SK3 was a disappointing upgrade, but I don't think T-Mobile's going to let that happen again.

Youtube videos can be streamed over edge with wing and dash. Will the LX allow for this?
