Hey great thread! Last night I finnally modded my iphone. I had been waiting for something easy that a newb like me could figure out and the Installer app and Summerboard answered that question for me. However, my next thing I would like to figure out is how to change the icons? I have been using the stock Sumerboard themes and a few from the installer app but I would really like some of the icons from this thread. How did you guys do it and what is the easiest way??
The easiest way is to find a theme in the installer which is already formated for Summerboard, and has the icons you like.Originally Posted by dwest218
Then install it via the installer.
Where are all the themes in Summerboard? Is it under Themes? I have installed the ones available there but none look the ones in this thread.
Yeah i was just going to say that.Originally Posted by dwest218

i put that in the library and im trying to find it on my phone but i cant. anyone have any ideas???
Can someone post the steps to take these screenshots? I have the dock app & not sure how to get these shots?
Do I need some kind of program to connect the Iphone to my Mac so that I can copy and past these themes into a folder on my Iphone or can these themes all be downloaded from the Installer?
For the Loring themes you have to download his package source to your installer. The link is in the signature in the first post of that thread. Rick click on it and save as. Once you download it copy it using iBrickr to your var/root/Library/Installer folder.
Then go into your installer and you'll see a new category in the installer with all the Summerboard Loring themes. Pick the one you want and install it.
Then go back into Summerboard and select the theme you want.
The other themes are already in the installer under Summer Board Themes. The one I posted is from a pack called "Greg's Themes for Summer Board." Install the pack and then go into Summer Board and select a new theme.
It's quite simple.Originally Posted by rapolu
1. Select the icon for screen shot.
2. Wait for the shutter sound.
3. Go the the camera roll.
4. There's the screen shot.
5. Connect to computer and download the image.
nevermind i just had to refresh and all the new themes were there![]()
i really need to do this... but everything for moding iphones seem sooo complicated for NON mac users...
It's really not. I'm on a PC.Originally Posted by johnjayb

can summerboard and i switcher be on the phone at the same time and not cause any problems? or does it have to be only 1?
