Cracked W850i keypad

WAHHHH!! My W850i is only 3 months old and a part of the keypad (below the down key) is already cracked. I'm just wondering if I could return the unit and have it replaced. Is that issue coered by the warranty?

Too bad because I really love this phone. The housing and functionalities are great but the keypad design is its main flaw.

My keypad is broken too

but between the down-key and the play-and-stop-key.

i had the phone for a very long time, texted and used it like crazy, and never brke...

I've heard of the w580i cracking, but definitely not the w850i....

mines only 4 weeks old and the 2,3,7 is broken and the paint near the camera is chipping so im a lil pissed

...they're talking about the W850i, not the 580i lol...but yeah, I've heard of the W580i's cracking...but never the 850i's until now...that's a first...and according to the second poster in this thread...make it a second

It was actually a common problem amongst W850 owners (since it's release last year). Some have complained after only two weeks of owning the phone.

Unfortunately I was a victim of a cracked d-pad on my Golden White W850i. Though it did not hinder it's performance, it was aesthetically displeasing (kinda like dropping your phone and seeing a chip on the corner).

It was less obvious with the black color, but both colors were proned to cracking.

Also, it was more of a hairline crack and not a physical break on the d-pad.

There's a crack on my w850 keypad. Not noticeable from arms length but still kinda displeasing as randomtask mentioned. I still love it though.

how do u manage to break them never brok any thing on any of my phones in my life accept the screen on my t720 in the 7th grade and the antenna on someother moto ****

Well, please answer my question whether this crack on the keypad is covered by the warranty. Can I return it and have it replaced? It bothers me because that crack may go larger and cause more damage in the unit.

Thank you guys. Damn, I thought this phone was perfect! I'm lucky I bought the black one 'coz cracks in white version would be very visible. I hope this replace this unit! The warranty covers parts and services for one year.

it's not actually as visible as you might think. I can hardly notice it unless I look really close.
