ASimpleFarmer- I think this is one you just have to leave up to the clients. Is that red in his hair and beard his or is it on the layer? It's kind of creepy, but who knows, they may dig it.

Red has always been used by artists to draw the viewer's attention into a section of a picture. So, now that I say that and think about my initial look at the photo, I'd say that if the red was added to the photo, I'd try to pull some of that red off of him. Women hate it when they are overshadowed by men in a photo. (Think bridezilla syndrome.)

You kept an amazing amount of detail in their clothes. I can just barely see it on my work monitor, so it should show up much better on my crt at home and should look much better in print. The rest of the colors look really good. I just started playing around with "heavy processed" portraits of this type bacause these come out with such a great feel to them.

You are totally right about the red, first thing i see is the male's mouth. I shot it for a small souvenir for their weddig reception and they wanted black and white. Being that it is october, they just asked for a "demendted" version aswell hahaha. The crt monitor in one of my classrooms shows up pictures waaay too dark.

    this is the proper version!

After we cleaned up the seeds everywhere else, it took a few minutes for the new place.
