    How to get old text messages on my phone

    Is their a way to retrieve old text messages from the cingular server, I lost my old text messages on my phone and want them back?

    Sorry to hear that, but there is no way to retrieve any message that you have deleted from your phone. AT&T does not store the text messages any where on their servers. You could get a subpoena and it will not make a difference. Sorry

    If you deleted them from your phone then not likely possible without a subpoena and no guarantee at that.
    If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

    i think unread text msgs are the only thing saved by them and they are only valid for liek 7 days

    Not really unread. Undelivered, or undeliverable are saved for 7 days.

    So like if your sim card is not active on the network at the time the message is sent, the system will store the message for 7 days and immediately send it when the sim becomes active again.
