internet images on w580

I just recently rcvd my 580 from sony style, i'm still figuring it out but my question is how do i get images to display when i'm on the internet. whenever i connect to the internet from the main menu i can only see the text & there are little "boxes" in place of where the images would be. this is very annoying and if anyone knows how to correct it i would appreciate it!

Have you checked the browser properties and settings to make sure that Images are enabled?? That would be the first thing I would look for.

I've searched the phone for an option to allow/display images. can't seem to find anything. under menu>settings>connectivity>internet settings : its internet profile or setting for java. but when i click on theses menus nothing relating to images/pictures is there... any other ideas? please?

Go into the Browser ... from there do the following:

Options>Advanced

A Browsing Menu should appear with the following options:
Smart-Fit
Show Pictures
Show Animations
Play Sounds
Allow Cookies
Keypad Mode
