Did you go back and rewrite the MIP profile with QPST after you activated and did the *228?

That should fix that authentication error if everything is working properly.

We also got that message while trying the browser the first time while still on the phone with CS.

The OTAP writes the tethered NAI to USC values for some reason but the rewrite will then stick to VZW values.

And congrats and thanks for testing this for us.

no i did not rewrite that file. that was in the guide? if it is it must be a new addition becaues i printed it out as soon as the guide was available and it is not listed. i will deff do that tmrw, i just shut down my computer that i flash with, if i find the oppurtunity tonite tho, ill give it a shot. no problem, anything for u guys!!

if u want my help with testing files, im more than willing to get that mma_ucp working properly. get a browser icon, put the get-it-now icon in instead of the usc thing and make this phone have NO TRACE of usc.

if ud like, concider me part of the team, lol. thanks for everything guys

The guide has been amended several times since it's release including just a few minutes ago to reflect the new info you have provided!

That's the kind of guy Mark_V is and he has stated this very clearly several times since this thread was posted.

We are all "part of the team" merely by taking an active interest in this project.
Thanks again for providing valuable feedback and enjoy your new phone!

I'd swear I saw the file locations for this flash at http://mark.cdmaforums.com/FileLocs.htm a couple of days ago, with some of the graphic locations noted as unknown. Now the Verizon Razr2 V9M (USCC firmware) list is gone. Did we figure where all the usual graphics and sounds are yet or still looking?

NO TRACE of USC is what I am looking for also. As close as we can get to a "Special Edition" Verizon phone, with the Motorola UI of course.

    Mark,

When I click in to the browser, it takes me to a page to enter either My Account, or sign up for wireless web. I then can't connect, even by telling it I want to sign up again. It gives me an unable to process request error.

Also, when I try to restore my RTT file, it says that it's an unrecognized file type, as with the other files before (the generics all work?).

My RTT gives me primary and secondary DNS 0 0 0 0

    Username %M@vzw3g.com

Sorry I'm needing so much help.

I haven't done this successfully...but isn't that what the last half of section "6.0. write edited Browser file using RSD CDMA General..." is all about?

It seems like it has detailed instructions for making use of a WAP.

That part helps u make an mms websession file so that mms will work with the inputed server info. At the end it says u can add your free proxy or wap if u have one here, but i do not no wat to fill in because all ino is the site.
