NO TRACE of USC is what I am looking for also. As close as we can get to a "Special Edition" Verizon phone, with the Motorola UI of course.
I had not add them to the FileLocs page, but the Graphic and ring tones locations are the SAME as the E815 due to the Moto UI...

I still need to confirm a few things, like music file location, MicroSD locations, where are sounds/voice notes saved... and what folder names do you see when using BT OBEX FTP.

Oh, and I wont call it Verizon V9M (USCC firmware)... I'll call it V9M (USC Firmware).... because basically we ARE using a V9M from US Cellular since we're using their Monster Flash file...

were you using a "FREE" public proxy before?

If so, you'll have to set that back up again. So you'd need to know the proxy name and information...

For example.. I run my own HottProxy at home... so I have the values for User ID, Password, Gateway URL, and port... to enter into my BROWSER Settings file in RSD making the 3rd web session... when I use this web session, it points me to my WAP home page...

I haven't used Verizon's "pay for" Mobile Web yet... so I can't speak to using that with a custom WAP home page....

Also, when I try to restore my RTT file, it says that it's an unrecognized file type, as with the other files before (the generics all work?).

My RTT gives me primary and secondary DNS 0 0 0 0

    Username %M@vzw3g.com

Sorry I'm needing so much help.
btw, Sorry, I don't think i got to respond but... two of the 3 files you emailed to me were corrupted and unable to open/restore with RSD CDMA Gen...

IF the RTT Data is one that was corrupt and could not be properly restored... that is a BIG problem...

there is information at the bottom which is important and User/Phone specific... a Generic one will not work.

    Mark,

Hmmm... That sucks. I guess I'll take another good whack at this when my 2nd razr2 gets back to my house.

Has anyone used a different version of QPST besides v2.7 Build 231? I can not for the life of me find this version/build. I did however find v2.7 Build 247. Just wondering if anyone has had success with any other versions... Thanks!

Yes indeed, you're correct I did see V9M (US Cellular firmware) noted on the FlipGraphic.htm page, instead of FileLocs.htm.

So if the E815 is the same file structure, I am not sure how it would separate music (with genre, album art, artist, etc.) from basic sound clips on the MMC. On the phone, Ringtones & Music are comingled in the same folder? The E815 wasn't really a 'Music Phone' was it?

    Motorola V710, E815
    In Phone's memory....
    Pictures /motorola/shared/pictures
    Ringtones&Music /motorola/shared/audio
    Videos /motorola/shared/video
    Voice Record (sound) /VoiceDB/All/Memos
    On MicroSD... (aka MMC)
    Pictures /motorola/shared/pictures
    Music /motorola/shared/audio
    Videos /motorola/shared/

Well, you did say "BUT based on other Moto UI phones... they should be the same..." So I think the music folders are probably a bit different, based in the link you provided to pictures of the phone, the Music Player has album art, etc.

No. just having a "web site" is NOT good enough... you need to know the info for the FREE PROXY that you used..

This would be located in the BROWSER settings that RSD CDMA General backed up IF you had it setup on your Verizon V9M prior to flashing.

also, we discussed rewriting a file to remove that warning about authorization in the browser. i did not rewrite that file because after running the browser a few times today, i have not received the warning. seems it only comes up the first time. not gonna do something that isnt necessary

I'm having a weird issue. I think it's a hardware problem, but I'm not certain. This may be just a coincidence, but since flashing to USCC, I've noticed the left external screen button (Recent Calls on USCC, Camera on VZW UI) varies in sensitivity, usually depending on what menu you're in. I've got a $5 plastic protective case on it, with a faceplate that leaves the screen exposed, allowing me access to the screen buttons. When I'm trying to use the button to activate the recent calls menu or click the check box in the music player to scan for new music, I almost always have to remove the protective faceplate, maximizing my fat finger's surface area over the button for it to work. This is never necessary for the other two buttons, but again, it also never seemed necessary when the button was used to activate the camera button on VZW UI. Also, it appears that when the button is used for other things (paging through menus, hitting back arrow in the music player), removing the faceplate is never necessary. If I leave the faceplate off completely, the button works reliably, though sometimes, I do still have to press a little harder for it to work.

I think it's probably a hardware issue, but the fact the faceplate always needs to be removed for the button to work on some menus but not others has me scratching my head - not to mention, I didn't seem to remember having any problems with it while it served as a camera button with the VZW firmware. I guess I was just wondering any of you running USCC firmware have also noticed any kind of sensitivity issues with that button. I was going to send it Motorola for service (no other warranty, AFAIK - bought it through an ebay merchant). I was able to open up an RMA, but I guess I'm worried a) they'll say the warranty is void because I'm running USCC firmware on a VZW phone, and I don't want to risk not being able to revert to USCC if I send it in with the VZW Monster on there, and b) the button will work well enough without the protective faceplate that they'll tell me it's fine. I guess I could also just live with it, but damnit, it's a new phone and I shouldn't have to.

Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

If you used it on your chocolate... you had/have those values... On the LG you put them in the paramtable1.fil

AND you can always check those values on the chocolate's menu....

From the phone's menu, press 0, for Service Code enter 000000.

    Select WAP Settings.
    You'll see choices for...

Under Proxy Address Setting, the Primary and Secondary IP Address (or host name) to your proxy server example: 9.99.99.99

Port Setting... the Primary and Secondary Port to your proxy's port... example: 9201

User Name... the USER NAME for your proxy server... example: 8005551212

User Password.. the PASSWORD for your proxy server.. example: vzw

Now, take those and use them to setup a proxy in the BROWSER settings file in RSD CDMA General...
