Hey I'm trying to set up QPST following your guides and I keep getting this error.

The phone is not showing up naturally so I followed the directions to add the com port. Upon doing this I got this error.

"There was an error enabling com 4 The port may not be working properly or is busy (-2147467259)

I am however using version 2.7 build 247 because I cold not find the one your recommended. Could this be the problem?

I guess you READ to STOP if the backups didn't work

If you pressed on... and got to section 3C.. you'd find links to generic copy of the MMS file that you can edit then load..

Flash appears to be working. All is good! Woow! Still trying to get some info on that proxy 2 port. Also I seem to have what appears to be a roaming icon on my screen next to the battery icon (is this for roaming? is this normal? could I have messed something up? Please let me know! Thanks homies.

I think my first mistake was not putting on a pot of coffee because now I remember reading that earlier this morning.

I should have updated concerning that post earlier. I used your generic copy and got the port to say 80. The only problem I have now is that I can't seem to send pix or video messages. I can receive them though.... Can someone point me in the right direction? If need be I can send my .rtw file to someone later today to take a look. Any ideas?! lol

Has everyone that's been flashing been using the EXACT same versions as listed on Mark's guide. I know we should be to see identical results, but I know some people don't have certain versions of certain programs.

I have the .9 flash installed and working. Are there advantages to upgrading to .12? Do you recommend flashing back to Verizon before going to .12 or can I flash right over top of .9? Thanks.

Because there have been many odd results working with the V9m and the USC flash it is highly recomended that you use the exact versions of software that Mark used. There is no way of knowing at this point what would be the result using other versions. If you are having problems finding the exact versions you might want to google them or poke around mobile-files.com
