Audiovox xv 6700 screen dims

My 6700 will be working fine and "blam" the screen goes to the dimmest of all settings. I have to get into a dark place to see the dim screen and go into settings to reset to high. Why does it do this?

Also, my pocketbible program works fine when first opened but then the "go to" command to move to another book just stops working. I can use the "find" to search a word but can't to to a book. Hmmm.

Also, once I installed the pocketbible, I can't send pictures through the MMS system. A hard reset solved the problem until I re-installed the pocketbible. I can do without the worthless camera anyway...but if there is a fix>

I have the exact same problem with the screen. Real PITA. This only started after I got the replacement from warrenty after screen cracked. My original phone never did this. Also I can;t seem to recognise bluetooth devices.
