I followed all these steps to virginize an unlocked 1.0.2 iphone, update to 1.1.1, jailbreak and activate using jailbreakme.com, unlock using anysim 1.1.1, and run the the youtube activation fix. Everything worked perfectly and it was very easy.
My question is did the bigboss virginize scripts backup the seczone? I know some of the other virginize methods do backup the seczone. If the seczone was not backed up would this cause a problem for updating firmware in the future? thanks.
im about to revirganize my 1.0.2 but will all the text messages, contacts, pictures, still be on the iphone after it has been revirganized, updated, and jail broken?

Nope...make sure you have all your contacts and pics on your comp. I dont know about the text messages though

All you do is a complete sync with iTunes prior to the whole revirginizing process. Once you reconnect your iPhone, it will ask you if you want to restore from a previous Sync/backup, just click yes and all the data ie. SMS, notes, contacts, email accounts, pics will be transfer to the iPhone
Lost EDGE option in the Network page after running the Fix
Hi
I have followed the instructions and ran the final step anySIM1.1 with my t-mobile sim in my iPhone.
This showed it had worked successfully so I ran the YouTube fix and this worked fine too. I input the EDGE settings and ran the EDGE fix. When I went back to General>Network page the option for EDGE had disappeared.
Now I can’t get any EDGE coverage and the service received is flaky cycling from No Service to 1 Bar to 5 Bars.

Any ideas what could be the problem?
I noticed that also after running the EDGE fix here I would restore you iPhone back to 1.1.1 and start then for a EDGE fix use the last method at the bottom of this guide. It works great
i have a quick question, do i have to virginize my 1.0.2 phone if it is NOT unlocked? however, it is jailbroken and activation bypassed on the att network.
