yep, seems to be a little worse on the battery than the first ROM and I have to kill IE once and a while. Memory usage (RAM and Storage) is much better than the first....
Anyone heard from DA_G? I think all teh info has been collected ....
He posted that he needed f1 to fix a few bugs, now that thats been uploaded, id assume within the next few hours. He seems to know a lot about what hes doing. good thing its not up to me to build the installer lol
wonder if wm6 has different files? most of the steps say to use homescreen.home or something and i dont have that. what whatever really not to worried about it.
They this it worked perfectly for me with the new ROM. I changed the samsung popup home screen. The name of the file for that home screen is BlackJackType2.home.xml. Under the label secion of the the xml file I noticed 3 y=0 items. I changed them all to y=400 and that did it. Good luck, let me know if you need help.
Well I'm certainly glad we got that done finally. I hope everyone enjoys, and if you find anything that the rest of us should know about. Please post!! Also thanks Da_G for your help.

which one did you follow, the top step's for removing the cingular thing. or the 2nd steps to remove carrier name? also changing the y's does that just move it off the screen so you cant see anything. Id rather just replace the words with something else if i could.. nor do i see a BlackJackType2.home.xml

I did the first one and moved it off the screen by changing the y's. I can't imagine you don't have the file since I am using your ROM.
-Connect your blackjack via USB and do an active sync.
-Then open your 'My Computer' and double click the 'Mobile Device' icon.
-Then open the 'My Windows Mobile-Based Device' icon (at least that's what is is called in mine).
-Then open 'application data' and finally open home.
