As soon as you fill out your profile, and show what phone make/model, CID, and carrier you are using.
for the problem, I had that happen to me, but I don't know what I did to fix it. I'm pretty sure it was when I was learning how to flash. Get the latest programs to flash, the correct files and reflash on windows XP, and you should be OK, but please post the info needed for someone to help you.
I used the following for w580i (color doesn't matter)/AT&T/North America/CID52:
W580_CDA102568_107_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_2 (customer pack)
W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED52 (file system)
W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52 (main)
Setool2lite V1.11
XS++_version 3.1 (for other things)
All on XP sp3, virus scanned and defragged. I can't tell you which USB drivers, because I seem to have them all downloaded and can't remember which ones worked right the first time. If the device is showing up in the software console, then I guess the usb drivers are correct.
