I don't love my Mogul, but it's what I use because I need that hard keyboard. I hope something comes around soon that's more stable like the touch, but has a hard keyboard.

Welp I found out that the standard mini usb does indeed fit and work. So standard chargers are not problem.

Installed TouchPAL, still takes some getting used to it to type..

    That's a relief,

Heh....I guess I'm not the junkie I always thought I was. I have had my 6800 for about 2 weeks now. I had a treo 700wx and boy do I love the 6800 10x better. I have not had one problem with the 6800. I don't do alot of texting, but I do browse the internet alot, and I do use things like the calender and tasks manager. I have upgraded my mogul basically to look like the touch, but with a keyboard. It is awesome, and I've yet to have any problems with it being buggy as everyone here seems to say it is.

The only reason I'm going to stay with my Mogul and not go to the Touch is because I NEED a keyboard.

I prefer the touch a lot more than the mogul. The mogul is sluggish, bulky, and I like the touch screen. You can get use to the Touch very easily, and is one of the fastest PPC's out there.

I agree. I've been getting use to this touch pretty damn well

I have owned my P4000 for roughly two months now. I would never go without it. The internal gps alone is worth it. I also use the keyboard almost constantly. On screen keyboards just take up valuable realestate, and force you to smudge your screen constantly.

Lots of updates and content on xda as well.

Yea that works .. if only the Mogul had more RAM
Because thats why I got the TOUCH .. since it has more ram
But I have pretty big hands so TOUCH keyb is getting on my nerves
Even on my ipod touch :-P

I currently have a Mogul in Verizon flavor (xv6800). There are some things about it that drive me nuts but I would tolerate them all if it only had more user accessible RAM. I think I'm going to give the AT&T Tilt a 30 day try to see if the phone/service is up to par.

    Peace

tilt would be the best but their data plans are so expensive, $80 miniumum phone bill each month, where as if you get a touch or mogul $30 a month includes unlimited data/text/and 500minutes included, save $50+ each month

That sounds like an awesome plan and worth the trade-off.... is that the SERO plan I keep reading about? Now if only they had decent service in my area...

    Peace,

Does anyone know if the p4000 is due to a new model right away, My PPC6700 recently has gone sour on the battery end of things. So a new battery is $130, and a new p4000 is $200 for me with a 3 year contract, plus I have to up my plan $15 a month... Now I'd be willing to spend the extra 15 on a plan as it has push E-mail, but other then that the -p4000 doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade? Can anyone here tell me is it that much better, if at all. I notice it's lighter, and doesn't have the antenna, but those parts don't bother me much. Hardware keyboard is essential as I do a lot of E-mailing/texting from my phone. and prefer the full out keyboard. Unless you guys can ensure me that the touch keypad can be just as fast after a learning curve?

Please tell me there's a new model going to be released soon, then I can just buy that, but I don't want to wait too long.

I use Telusmobility.com as my provider btw
