Unlock "Apps" on ROKR Z6M USCC

I just recently bought a ROKR Z6m from USCellular and am trying to install games on it. I was just wondering how to do that.
I was thinking maybe I need to do a seem edit and somehow unlock the "application and games" section since it is not on my phone at all. I have the files all transfered to the memory card just don't know how to initialize & install them...

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Games haven't been able to be installed on CDMA (US Cellular, Alltel, Verizon, Sprint, etc) for about 3 years now. The phones run BREW, and the games that you have are JAVA. They are incompatible formats. No one has been able to figure out how to run JAVA apps on BREW based phones. Sorry, your out of luck.

By the way sprint uses java, it's just more confusing to try an add them.

Just thought i'd throw it out there.

What in the world are you talking about? I have a CDMA phone that has native Java. Works great. It ALSO supports BREW.

I know exactly what in the world I'm talking about. This thread is also kinda old to be digging back up, isn't it? I should have phrased my reply differently: "All phone's BUT NOKIA, SMARTPHONES, AND SOME CANADIAN carriers' phone's haven't been able to run Java for about 3 years now." I can tell you right now you either have a Nokia phone, a smartphone, or are on a canadian carrier, right?

The V3c is one of the CDMA variants of the Motorola Razr line up. At the moment, there are no Java enabled flashes for the Z6m. I believe Bell is the only carrier that has java enabled on their Z6m's (if they even carry them?)

Yeah, my phone is the Nokia 6265i, J2ME works GREAT!!

My girlfriend just got the Z6m, therefore I was looking for a way to use java with that one also...

The instruction manual talks about using the built in web browser.. but it seems that USCC has disabled it.. how can it be re-enabled? Is there a way to mod this phone similar to modding the Nokias?

You need to dial ##BROWSER (##2769737) on the home screen and you will need to set up a proxy and home page... BUT i've heard it can screw up ur mms so ask the others at the uscc forums!

Well, you can add skins, and change seems to enable features.

I hate to bring up such an old thread, but I have been googling the heck out of this and have only found a few discussions of any value whatsoever.

I have recently bought a ROKR Z6m myself, Cricket. It has BREW 3.1.4 and a couple of games on it.

Has there been any progress modding this CDMA phone for games? Again, it's a Cricket phone so I'm not sure about any firmware differences yet.

I would love to skin and play games. If I can't play games, I've heard I can apply skins, but what skins are appropriate for use?

Well still no progress yet with brew

As for skins you'd want 240x320 skins
