This is what I am looking for also.

Or a good internet based one that works well on the phone. But it must not count the incoming message as sms.

The disclaimer states it uses sms.

but i also have a question.. anything you install can be on the SD card and not phone memory correct?
NOT correct. You will run into programs that must be installed to the device to work properly . . . these will usually tell you so at installation. Some just inherantly work better if installed to the device - mostly trial and error.
You can take this "Q" from my cold, dead hand . . . - Q-Area51

I have an HTC Diamond with Sprint and have a couple of questions.

Is there a way to remove the Sprint TV and Sprint Radio icon off the start screen.

Is there a way to add an icon and/or program to this menu?

I tracker that's compatible with FT2 *.xm and *.xi files. you can make sample based music on your phone! (if you like tracker interfaces)

http://www.milkytracker.net/ (the website works on and off for me but i'm sure you can find the program elsewhere)

Any good mpg/avi players for WM 6.1? I'm running CE OS 5.2.21041 on my Ozone and want to put divx clips to watch at work on my phone.

But have you taken the time to read through the Terms of Service? I chose not to reload Google Maps following my recent hard reset after reading how they can scoop your data (including voice).

If you want to take backup of your phone. Try BackupandShare.com

Its the best online backup solution for windows mobile phones. I am using it for my HTC for last 6 months and no complaints so far.

For IM solution (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Fbook, ICQ, GT, and a few others) using a non SMS based method is to use Parlingo. (http://www.palringo.com/) it also has a push to talk sorta feature you can use to record your voice and send it to another person on your IM chat. Also Skype mobile is pretty cool thing to have (unlim call to friend that have skype without wasting minutes, just have unlim data and you're set....

Google maps is the best for GPS and Navigation, it doesn't yet have the step by step travel voice prompts for WM yet but should be coming soon I'd expect...

Divx Mobile is a great video viewer and plays most videos (I haven't found one it won't so far. (http://www.divx.com/en/mobile)

SKTools is a free app (http://s-k-tools.com/?sktools/m_feat.html)

For Backup don't pay for that crap. You can Use google to backup most things or use a WM6.1+ program called MIQ (http://miqlive.com/) it's free and backs up Imgs, Vids, Contacts, Calendar, and Calls. It also allows you to send SMS through your phone if you're on their website remotely.

Weather, well I'm not so sure on that one, I hear iWindowsMobile Weather works on HTC phones, but IDK I use the HTC weather app that is build into my 6.1 - 6.5 (just upgraded the rom last week) phone.

SmarttoolKit is a real cool skin app and modifier for windows mobile phones, check it out (http://smarttoolkit.wordpress.com/) [You can Download the latest ver somewhere in the middle]

Windows Mobile 6.1+ with active sync are now supported by Google for Push email and Calendar and contacts.

As for the SMS through WiFi, that's easy. Just email their phone if you have unlimited data and have Push email setup through google it's flawless..... SMS Gateway list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ng_SMS_transit)

I run an HTC Ozone QVGA phone and I also use XDA a lot, you guys should look at their page or feel free to ask to me anything you have questiongs about relating to progs, I have a lot of them...
