    8525 vs Wing

I currently have tmobile and want to stick with it, and am looking for a PDA phone. I was looking at the Tilt, but way too expensive. My other options are the 8525 vs the Wing. My girl currently has the wing, and it looks like it has everything im looking for, except that its SLOOWWW. I know there is an overlock for it, but not sure how much it helps. My alternative is the 8525, which looks very similar to the wing, except the processor is TWICE as fast. My main concern is wether the 8525 will be just as fast as the Wing in terms of internet. I know the 8525 has 3g, which the Wing doesnt have since TMO doesnt yet support 3g. Tmo has what i think is called EDGE, and i want to make sure the 8525 supports that. Thanks for the help.

I like the 8525 better personally. Its time for me to upgrade and I thought about the same two phones. I don't have any concerns other than cosmetics though. Hate how when the wing opens its opposite of what I am used to (MDA)

I don't consider either of those phones to be an upgrade to the mda....I'm stickin with the mda until something blows it out of the water....minor improvements just doesn't do it for me....I do want something with the form factor of the ol jasjar though....

    Question Are you kidding me?

The 8525 hands down man! The Wing is slow as heck and has no memory. The 8525 had double the storage memory, double the prog memory, and double the speed. You won't see much of a difference in regular tasks from the 201Mhz devices but you'll see a difference if you want to run Voip, video and multitasking. But the memory is the main reason to get the 8525. It's just a more capable phone.

The Wing is a good phone too but it needs to be tweeked or flashed with a cooked ROM (touch flo). Then it will be really nice.
