also for sum reason if i try to install anything from installer it keeps doing a soft reboot does anyone know how to solve this?
when i tried to unlock my iphone with anysim it sais it couldnt
i bought my phone as a 1.1.2
but i downgraded it to 1.1.1
i activated it
but my iphone is not unlocked
what should I do???
1.1.2 OTB cannot be unlocked yet. You haven't done any steps that are normally used to unlock, mainly the AnySim install. All you've done so far is enable it to turn on past the Activate screen.
As far as i know, theres no way if it comes loaded with 1.1.2. You cannot downgrade to 1.1.1, you will get an unexpected error message and the phone will hang.
I just got an iPhone today. And am trying to downgrade to 1.1.1 and I get the unexpected error message - am I SOL?
How in general can you tell what version is on your IPhone?
No...I just got it yesterday and downgraded my 1.1.2 to 1.1.1. You can tell by looking at the serial number of the phone. What are the 4th and 5th numbers? I believe if it is xxx45 or above then you have 1.1.2. I just followed this guide and stopped after jailbreaking 1.1.1.
Essentially restoring to 1.1.1 and ignoring the 1015 error was it.
then use apptappinstall to bring it back to activate mode and appsnapp for instructions..
if the 4th and the 5th serial number is 47, what software ver is that?
thats the newest, 1.1.2.
hey macgeek, doesn't turbosim work for 1.1.2? thats an option there. I havent read anything about turbosim, but if they can make it work, hopefully the dev team can make it work as well, soon. im dying to use the phone options
