Yes, as long as you keep your baseband 4.02, you're cool.
I just went through the revised process. The last step, when I run Jailbreak file nothing seems to happen with the phone. It almost feels like the files are just through thin air and not actually applied to the phone. Is there something special I need to do to connect the iphone with my pc to install run the jailbreak e.g. winSCP, SSH.
can you go to www.java.com and make sure it runs the java apps?
L.
Yeah checked and verified that I have Java installed. Am I suppose to click on INSTALL SSH and Root Password : Alpine is that correct?
Is it normal to have Incorrect SIm error on my iPhone when I switch it on? I'm wondering I didn't do one of the process properly and should start from step 1 again.
You need to run anySIM when you are at 1.0.2 with 4.02 baseband...
L.
Definitely did that also.
I run the Jailbreak file in my computer right - not in iphone using winSCP? So if I get the start screen with iPhone cable and CD showing, it means Jailbreak did not work?
I'll try the whole process again - for the 10th time...
THis guide very easy it took me about thirty minutes because i had an otb 1.1.2 and had to downgrade thanks for posting this geek and thanks to the dev team for making this possible

Whne you'are in 1.0.2, you ran anysim on the phone - and then oktoprep -
upgrade back up to 1.1.2 and run the jailbreak from the computer - you should have a menu that asks you if you want to install ssh. uncheck it, and leave that pssword blank, and then it should start the jailbreaking process. The phone will reboot, and reboot again, after which, you should be at your springboard...
