Need Help with Ntt Docomo D905i... Unlocking

Just got the phone...


Now. Only message I get is Unrecognized SIM... (Tmo SIM)
It does not ask me for a CODE. just the message and phone still starts up.
But a softbank sim did not show this message. YES finnaly. I see a way out.


So, I will try to Use the IMSI from SoftBank SIM and all other info from my Tmo SIM. I hope this works.


P.S. OMG. This phone makes me look stupid. Looking at all the options, setings, and its like WTF do I do now . This is something to get used to. makes my M1000 look like a cheap remote.

How much do you want for it?
It looks like it works with the SoftBank SIM. but an extra SIM will never hurt.


So far I mannaged to get the basics workd out. Now for the interesting part.
Have to start playing with the SIMs... I will start testing as soon as the phone is completly charged.


Also, I only get this message during startup. no meter what I do afterwords I do not get it again...

So It looks like (I hope) it only checks the IMSI 1 time at startup. If this is the case, I'm sure I can get it to work here. But all options may not work.

Here is what i found so far...

I went to my local (phila, PA) Wireless store and asked them for the older Tmo Simcards... I extracted the Ki from it and It looks like the SoftBank SIM works.

Now the phone is charged. I will make a hybrid sim now and try to see if i can connect to Tmo CustomerCare. Because this card is not activated, Any number I call it will transfer me to them anyway...

If it works, Then I will Let you all know.

wolvorine4424, hm... I wouldn't be that sure that a SoftBank SIM could work, since the DoCoMo phone would go into menu and "work" even without a SIM card afaik. I think the reason is that the Tmo SIM probably wasn't a USIM, but a usual SIM card, which keeps it giving out an error message.

Anyways, I think the newer FOMA cards are green, so that could be the key when you get one.

So far, I cant figureout how to write this info to the card...
All of the Programs I have give an error...


Will keep trying, as usual.

P.S. At 8pm EST, I will try to call Japan and see what info I can get out from the Docomo Service Center.

I think it has to be the program from the Chinese forum post on page 1, "sim-emu0.61". Or do you have it and it doesn't work either?

I just got off the phone with Docomo Service Center.

Well, They told me that there is NO unlocked Phones in Japan.
We will NOT unlock it. Even if I wanted to, I do not have access to the codes.

I have got 4 different operators and they all told me the same thing... So I think they are not BSing me... At least I hope so...


Question:
Anyone here has seen or know of a program that can write to the sim... I need to write the modded info to the SIM to test it and see if it actually works.

I can write the original file, but I cant modd it because its encrypted. before the program encrypted the file and made it a .bin. I wrote the info down.
So I do have all the info infront of me, just no way of writing it to the sim.

If anyone have any sugestions, Please post or PM me.
If this works I will make it Public for everyone (credit for the info will go to who provides it, you can choose your AKA if you want or anonymous if you preffer not to be named)

P.S. This phone was reliesed 11/2007. Only been out for about 3 weeks.
If this works, then this will be something to be proud of.

Why is StealthSIM not responding to my Emails, Is it that they don't like to make MONEY .
Can there SIM be hacked??? I may get one and see what I can uncover...

Sence there is no updated software out for this phone, A Hardcoded HACK is out of the question. and I'm not waiting till its available.

Seems like you already found somebody to provide you with a DoCoMo SIM.
But in case you need still help with that, I also might be able to get one for you.

And I'm also kind of sure you'll need the green ones, since all new DoCoMo phones usually come with the green USIM!

Um, i'm trying to write it back to a blank sim (Sim Max 12in1, GSM 6in1)
these are the 2 I have now...

I heard that I may need the Silver Card and this one works...
I just havent been able to find one.


Still trying. now its just getting interesting because nothing seems to work.
I wanted to try with the IMSI from the SoftBank Usim, but i was not able to.
Cant get any of my programs to write it to the blank sim.


Can anyone get me a Green USIM and let me know where I can order some Silver USIM's??? I have to try every option or even a possible option.

Ok, I have been looking around and I cant find any network settings, There are alot of options I cant get in because i do not hve a SIM in it right now and even if i put in the SoftBank sim, I get an error of Unrecognized sim...

So everyone is correct about it, This sim does not work eather... I need a FOMA SIM.

Oh, and under iMode I found Host settings.
And Host Selection is available. I have 1 configured, named iMode (cant access the settings, no edit option) and 9 blank slots for my settings.
They are: Host Name, Host Number, Host Address and Host Address2...

Most of the Games do not start because they want the UIM. Figures.

Right now I want to Dual SIM it. I'm actually thinking about Begging someone to help me get a Docomo Service Plan and paying the whole contract time upfront (plus extra to the person willing for the trouble). and The other will be the Modded SIM to make it work here.

Man, this phone is locked down tight...

P.S. Docomo already reliesed a Software Update for this phone. Its a minor update to fix some errors... Interestingly, I havent found any yet. oh, yeah. They say its an update for the DCMX. I guess its some security update for the IC chip or what ever its called...

Um, How in the hell do I access the files that are on this phone??? I can only access the Memory card using the USB cable, But not the Phone...
This phone got some nice security features too...


Can anyone get me the Foma UIM... I want to get the IMSI number from it and send it to StealthSim and have them just add that to the SIM for me.
I'll be like. You sell them for $90, I'm willing to pay you $200 for the prototype... Just looking at the options.

Because if it works. then there will be a better reason to try to crack it with a Modded SIM. Because i will know that it DOES work.
I can actually say, I will pay for this to be available. (Like paying a company to just get 1 or a couple of prototypes out in the wild so it will be a WIN/WIN for them and if this does work, they can still make money on it)


OK, I still havent figured out how to write the info to the card. I already tried over 12 programs and some I payed for. So lets see what the Silver and the Green2 Cards will say. I ordered 4 of each. Will continue this quest when they get here. If they work, I will need someone here with a different carrier to try it too. And see if we can get this to go. lol Docomo will Hate me.

Where did you get your Foma Card??? I cant find one.
Can I buy it from you, can you get me one, or just the number??? (If its an unregistered card)

Also, no luck with the FOMA UIM card. It's v2 I think, as it reports a 0000 value when I try and do a SIM scan.... just like every other SIM card I have tried (I tried about 30 other non-Japanese SIM cards.)
