I'm interested to know, what language is it programmed in? if it's Java, then I might be of some help. I highly doubt it though as java is used more for apps.

So far 1 just get 1 error...

it tells me unable to verify at address 0000h... Maybe its because i selected the wrong PIC Number...

And im not sure what language its written in.

But i got it to write, so its just the problem with the simcards. Or i'm still missing a step or 2. Willkeep at it, till it tells me Verify Successful or something like that.

    Question

    Sorry, I made a mistake...

It tells me that the address 0000h is NOT empty...
Even after i did an erase, it tells me successful, but when i verify it tells me the same thing...

Nometer what I do, I still get this error.

I will ignore it and continue and see what i get out of it. I think it will fail, but i will try anyway.

In other news, my new cards/programmer have shipped this morning. So I hope tomorrow night or friday morning to have it in my hands.

    Talking

    Update:

I'm starting to think I need a serial writer (i have a USB one now)... I tried over 6 cards and I get the same error...

Programming failed at Code address 0000h.

But, I have figured it out and I have the HEX files ready for programming when I get my programmer in the mail in 1 to 2 days...
All the info has been entered into the HEX files. the Ki, IMSI and other info...

I hope the new programmer will work. oh, I also ordered 4 more silvers and 4 green2 cards. I think if this works out, I will make a batch of 4 cards and have anyone here try it and see if it works for your provider...

Now I'm starting to see some results/progress, so i'm getting impatient... Where the hell is the mailman??? Get a move on it.

What kind of smartcard reader/writer are you using at the moment?

The difference between USB and Serial is that USB just emulates and creates more than 1 COM port with these things usually.

It seems to be a problem with:

Defective SimCards or Different chip then the 16F877 / 16F876...

I get that programming error about Code address 0000h on all the cards I have. (except 1, because I cant find it... now where did i put it )

I was told that the Controller chip is the same on every card and does not meter what card you have. Only difference is the EEPROM (it differs from silver, green, green2 and other cards)

So the conclution was (Incorrect controller chip which is needed for Cell SIM Use or Defective Controller Chip)...

    EDIT:
Anyone know any other Controller/PIC chip numbers that where used in the sim, so I can try it too??? (example: 16F877 Used on Silver/Most Sim Cards)

On a Chinese website it says that Silver cards use 16F876 controller chips.

    Unhappy

    I tried that one too...

I just ordered a NEW programmer and 6 silvercards... The REAL Silver Cards.
    From: http://www.dvbdirect.com

I think that the programmer I have is Not made for what I'm trying to make it do... I dont think it supports PIC Programming. Just the EEPROM. At least this is the impresion I get.

Oh, and the cards I have got where the Funcard2 (16F84)... not the Silver (16F876/7) cards.
(Some Silver Sards are 16F876 and I think the Newer Silver cards are 16F877) But dont quote me, I'm not sure.

This is driving me , But I will make it work. Just a couple more overnighters and I should have something usable. I hope.

hey wolverine I've been reading your thread with great interest, and have come across a website that sells this product called 'SIM id-Cloner'-- I was wondering if it would be able to help in your unlocking project http://www.msab.com/en/Products/XRY-Field-Version/

    Cheers and good luck!

I'll have to say that I think the key is in the Silver cards. When Chinese unlockers were trying this with the 904SH they only got the 16F877 cards to work.

I guess that makes sence, since I tried over 10 cards and all failed...
None of them where the Silver Cards.

I will wait for the cards and a better programmer to get here so I can get it on the road...

The Sim ID Cloner looks interesting and I asume its very expensive.

Whoops, scratch what I said, that's not the guide you want to use. You want to use the translation I did back near the beginning of the thread.
