Please read this I don't understand

I've already asked this question on Motorola forum but I would like to hear somebody else opinion about this problem. I have a Motorola V3x unlocked phone, and it works only when I insert my SIM card which is Cingular/AT&T. When I insert my wifes SIM card (same provider) or my brothers (T-Moblie), it says "Insert SIM card". Why is that happening and anybody knows a solution for this problem?

    Thanks a lot.
Just hold still, and I'll make it quick.

If It's Unlocked You Shouldn't Have Any Problems With SIMs...

You Should Try With Some Other Carriers SIM, If it Doesn't Work, It Isn't Unlocked...

Could be a SIM lock. I mean like the phone's security feature that is done by the user.

Or it just means that the phone isn't truly unlocked.

Thats a strange problem, try master resetting it or flashing see if it makes a difference.
