Okay... ...so I tried doing this as the instructions clearly stated. I downloaded and installed the BitPim program. (I'm on Windows Vista) I plugged in my phone (LG Shine CU720) via the USB cable. I launched BitPim and I keep getting an error message about "an unexpected exception has occurred." I'm not exactly sure what I've done wrong and I'm sorry if this issue has already been addressed, I didn't find it by "Find: error". Any help would be greatly apprecitated.
Whenever I try this it says "no phone detected" even though everything is plugged in. I can't get past the retrieving/expand step. "Could not detect any candidate ports."
Make sure your lg shine cu720 is in data service mode or you won't be able to view the file system. I had problems but when I did this and made sure that the phone selected was a vx8700 it worked.
i have installed the phone drivers and the lastest version of bitpim but it could not detect my lg kc910!!!! i have tried all types of phones provided by bitptm, but it still give me failed to read files system,, so anybody can help me plzz?????
