    Need database app for Smartphone

Can anyone recommend a database program for smartphone other than Handbase? I want to be able to create the database on the Smartphone. Handabse seems to require that you create on the PC & then sync to Smartphone. -- Thanks for your input!

Can you be more specific regarding what you mean by "database"? If you mean something like a Microsoft Excel application I would check out a program called Documents To Go, I use it and love it.

Microsoft offers two versions (SQL CE and SQL Compact) of its SQL server for Smartphone/Pocket PC for free. Of course, they are just engines. You still need write your own applications to use the database.

I am not looking for excel as I already have documents to go. I am looking for a database app similar to handbase but one that allows you create your databases on your smartphone vs creating them on your desktop and downloading them to your smartphone and only being able to view them on the smartphone.
