    What IS this?

I am using an unlocked T-Mobile RAZR V3i DG on AT&T's network. Since I switched (months ago) I get this message every time my phone is restarted as a text:

    From: 121611611
    Text: 453 Error Invalid Number.
Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. 06050415CCC00160D99B566C9C3660C583272D9CB760000

I think the number is usually different (that long alphanumeric thing) but it's really ANNOYING ME.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

Hmm, I think this had something to do with the My Faves option on T-Mobile phones, don't know if your phone has that option but there's a lot of info on it through google.

Thanks... I can't find anything to that effect, though.

If it does in fact have the MyFavs firmware on the phone that IS what it is. The phone is requesting the MyFavs setting from ATT and ATT is saying wtf are you doing sir.

Loved the phrasing there. How do I make it go "bye bye"?

    Thanks!

That's branded ROMS for ya. It's a Motorola, so it shouldn't be hard though. Try looking around the Motorola forums... a USB cable and some downloaded software should be all you need.

Left: iPhone 5s on T-Mobile. Right: Comcast home internet connection.
