IS it me or does Rogers seem to be doing all the right things lately??
* My K850i upgrade came in last week saturday - issues of my contract renewal date caused by Number Porting from Fido last year was fixed.
* A credit check was needed by retentions to be able to override what the dumb Cx rep did last year and allowed for credit limit removal and MORE lines! This rep not only sounded sexy, but she also sounded smart, informed, and was courteous and efficient! I got a good mind to call in find out her name and report to her manager to make her Team Lead or on floor new rep assistant! She earned it!
* My memory card came in less than 4days of me ordering it.
Now this?! I almost want to trade in my K850i and wait for an 8320.
Your stock in Rogers seems well placed for the next few years - until competition comes in and is able to be fully established. I can see HUGE lots of Business users going to an 8320/8120 should Rogers choose to source these and make HUGE revenue. They'd be smart to also allow for SIP on the 8820 specifically for Corporate users so that their business line - should telecom reps in the corporation enable this - is also reachable at home. You'd be amazed how much reps in large corporations love to use a 4/5/6 digit internal extension to reach a said rep quickly. This would be HUGE for corporate users - EVEN if Rogers chose to charge a small fee for professional assistance in setting this up!

when using voip- enhanced features for 9-1-1 arent available, therefore they will need more information from the subscriber and an EULA around that fact when signing up.
