I'm starting a new thread for this. The old one was mainly about the Fin anyway and too long for me to go through to organize. Let's try to keep this one strictly to new device news and rumors only.

Well, the Mysto is official now. Can we talk about that?

The Korean version is out tomorrow. The English version will be available at flagship Helio stores starting on December 26 by special request only (it won't be displayed). The device will be available on Helio.com and everywhere else in mid-January - just after its successor is unveiled at CES, no doubt. But $149 is definitely a fair price.

I'm a little dissappointed that the camera was reduced from 3.2 MP to 2, but I can understand that sacrifices had to be made to keep the same 10.9 mm thickness while switching to CDMA. Any word if it has kept the autofocus and flash?

I'm totally going to buy the Mysto. (Or the Fin, if the camera lacks autofocus/flash.) I'm glad Helio decided to "soft launch" the Mysto early - it saved me from switching to Verizon for a thinner phone. And now, the wait begins...

I dont think it has autofocus because while using a crappy internet translator, it translated most of it and i didnt see the words auto or focus anywhere

I think I'm just going to grab a Fin for less. It's thinner, too.

Still awesome though. I can't wait to see the quality of the pics it takes...even if it isn't a 3.2MP.

You will able to get the Mysto on Dec 26th at only the Helio stores in New York and in Santa Monica store in Cali. It will not be on display and you have to ask for it. I hear it will be going for about $150

Wonder if any NY or Cali Helions will go stock up and put some up on ebay or something...

Nope, the Korean CDMA Ultra Edition 10.9 has a 3.2mp autofocus camera

Ok....a lot of Mysto talk in here, and technically it's no longer a "Future Device" so can we move on? Is there anything else coming down the pike for Helio?

I think next up is the Heat successor. The Heat is Helio's oldest current device, after all, and a device that looks an awful lot like a Heat successor is displayed on their 2008 brochures. It can't be long, now - didn't the Heat come out in January 2007?

I spoke with CS last night concerning something else and had mentioned rumors of an Ocean 2. Was told that they themselves(customer service) were also kept in the dark regarding any future releases. They only get something like a few days to a week in advance of the public concerning an upcoming release.
