    Samsung R610 "on USCC Website"

    The URL trick strikes again!!

The Samsung R610 is "on the website"

    http://www.uscc.com/uscellular/Silve...ml?phoneID=177

I stopped at my favorite agent store tonight after work and they said it will likely launch next week.

This phone actually looks pretty sweet. I just don't prefer the Sammy UI. lol now I've said that about 3 brands in 2 days, lol.

Even so, if it has OBEX I would definitely consider carrying it.

All heck is going to break loose when nokia makes cdma phones again. Every thread i have read here about a new phone has something about wishing the phone had opera and java and t9 ect.

It has already launched, although your local agent may not have them in stock yet. It is available for purchase on the website.

12,999 pennies after all the jargon. Not bad. From when I played with this phone I remember kinda liking it. Good RF, if I can recall.

We got our R610's in yesterday. Wow this phone is light weight and super thin. I honestly wouldn't mind carrying it. Looks like a fun little phone. Same UI as the R500 which was just slightly different from the U520 from what I remember.

There's nothing cutting edge. but it contains a nice set of features in a slim package.

The Samsung SCH-r610 features an internal antenna, a high-resolution, 262K TFT display, EVDO: CDMA 800/PCS 1900MHz, MP3 player with microSD memory slot, BREW 3.14, 1.3MP camera, WAP 2.0, stereo Bluetooth and a loud, clear speaker phone.

I prefer it to the MOTOROKR Z6M.

It's a pretty solid phone. Good for people who want a slider but don't like moto. It's sitting at a good price, too, so it should sell well. From what I remember from testing, it has good rf qualities, and feels nice in the hand. Of course, no one seems to care about rf qualities anymore, so I guess that doesn't matter.

RF matters a great deal to me remember eastern NC is spread out and some areas very rural.to me nothing is better than the RF and a phone working when i need it to work. when uscc gets rid of nweb i will get data again and up grade to a evdo phone. of coarse if my v3c starts giving trouble i will get a new phone anyway but so far with over 400 hours of talk time and data time it hasn't giving any trouble so with no evdo and still having to use nweb it just no reason to spend two to three hundred dollars for what benefit.
