Ouch! That's pretty steep. Maybe you should try contacting them to confirm the shipping cost. I recently purchased a phone from them (about 2 weeks ago) and only paid $27.95 for FedEx shipping.
I received my Eclipse Black T650i today from CTI-Miami. I must say first impressions, this is one of the best feeling phones to hold and use. The build quality is solid and there is no creaking. The keypad is very nice and quite easy to use. The buttons are identical to my K850i, but recessed a little more. It actually feels better than the K850i as they don't stick up as much, just enough to "feel" each button. The spacing is good too, I actually find this phone the best one to text on IMO. So far, the only thing I'm not liking is the fact you have to remove the battery cover to access the memory card. The desk stand and slip case are nice additions too.
nice, I like this one a lot.. silly question but is it quadband? it's SE's answer to Nokia's 6300.

Thanks for the awesome pics Chronism *saves to hard drive* I was wondering if you could tell me how the strip of light at the back of the phone that alerts you of new messages works. I've seen pics of the back of the T650 without the cover and there doesn't seem to be LED's there.

It looks like it would fit nicely at the office. Just buy a spare one to use at home. The problem is, the stand feels so cheap compared to the rest of the phone. The back and the base of the stand seem to be made of light plastic. Not sure about the vertical part though. Chronism does it feel cheap to you?

The bottom of the stand is actually weighted metal and the vertical piece w/ clear back piece attaches to the base.
As for the rear LED, there are two small LED openings on either side of the phone behind the battery cover. There is a small clear plastic strip built into the battery cover with a tab sticking out on either end that fit into the two openings once attached and the light is transfered through the plastic strip.
